These terms govern your use of Garro. By creating an account or starting a recording you accept them. If you use Garro on behalf of a club, the club's separate written agreement with us takes precedence where the two differ.
Garro is operated by HeapForge d.o.o., Kobilić 102, 10410 Kobilić, Hrvatska, OIB 38338170480. Full registry details are in the Imprint. You can reach us at support@heapforge.hr, which is also our point of contact under the Digital Services Act.
Garro lets a member of a participating club start a timed recording on a court fitted with a camera, watch it live in a browser, and share the resulting recording through a link.
Cameras belong to the club, not to us. Which courts have cameras, who may record, and whether recordings are public within the club are the club's decisions.
A club can also announce its own matches — for tournaments and competitions — and record them with a live score. Those are run by the club's staff, not by members; see Club matches and the scoreboard.
Clubs use Garro under a separate agreement with us, which includes a data processing agreement. These terms are between us and you as a member or visitor.
A court camera records everyone on the court, not just you, and records sound too when the camera has a microphone. These rules are conditions of use, not suggestions, and breaking them is grounds for us or your club to close your account.
A club's staff can announce matches ahead of time — the court, the time and the two sides, usually the players' names — and start their recording. The club may name a referee from among its members, who keeps the score from their phone. Only the club's staff and its referees can keep a score; members cannot.
A player who does not want their name shown can ask the club, or report the match to us as described below; we treat it like a request to remove a recording.
You must not:
The software, brand, design and documentation of Garro belong to HeapForge d.o.o.. Nothing in these terms transfers them to you.
Recordings are not ours. We hold them only to deliver the service to the club and its members, and we do not use them to advertise the product, train models, or for any purpose of our own.
Anyone can report a recording, with or without an account: a person who appears in it and wants it removed, or anyone who believes it is illegal. Press Report under the video, or write to support@heapforge.hr with:
We confirm we have received it, make the session private while we look at it, and decide within 48 hours. A person in a recording asking for it to be removed is enough for us to remove it. If you started the session, you accept that their request takes precedence over keeping the recording.
When we hide or delete a recording, or suspend or close an account, we tell the person affected what we did, the facts and the rule or law behind it, and how to challenge it. Decisions are made by a person, not automatically. You can reply to the same address and someone will look at it again; you can also use out-of-court consumer dispute resolution or go to court.
We do not promise a particular uptime figure and we do not offer a service level guarantee to individual members. Streaming depends on hardware at a court, on the club's network, and on providers we do not operate.
A session may therefore produce no recording — the camera may not connect, the network may drop, or processing may fail. We will show you what happened, but we cannot recreate a match that was not captured.
Recordings are deleted automatically after 7 days, unless the club keeps one for a reason such as an injury or a dispute. We are not able to recover a recording after deletion.
Refund requests go to support@heapforge.hr. We reply within 14 days and pay to the original method.
Should we later offer paid plans to individuals rather than clubs, consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal. Because streaming begins immediately, we would ask for your express consent to start within that period and your acknowledgement that the right is lost once performance has begun. We will publish separate terms before that happens.
You can send us a written complaint about the service by email to support@heapforge.hr, or by post to HeapForge d.o.o., Kobilić 102, 10410 Kobilić, Hrvatska.
We reply in writing within 15 days of receiving it, to the postal or email address you give us. Please include enough detail to identify what happened — the club, the court, and roughly when.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for intent or gross negligence, or for anything that cannot be limited under Croatian law. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
Subject to that, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for lost profit or opportunity, or for a recording that was not produced, was lost, or was deleted at the end of its retention period.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, particularly the rules on recording people, or where we must do so by law. Where it is reasonable we will warn you first and explain why. A club may also remove you from its own courts at its discretion.
We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you we will tell you in advance, and continuing to use Garro after it takes effect means you accept it. If you do not, you may close your account.
Croatian law applies and the courts of Croatia have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory rules in your country of residence, and you may also use out-of-court consumer dispute resolution under the Croatian Consumer Protection Act.
